OUR WAIATA

WAIATA: E TE IWI
TUNE: Simple Song of Freedom
WORDS: by Hapu members

The following contemporary waiata ‘E TE IWI’ was composed and presented at the first Ngati Wai Hapu Wananga on the 25 June 2011 at Mere Te Aroha, Whanganui.

The kaupapa of our waiata is to remind us all of, who we are, why we are on this journey together and for whom we are doing this for.

It is hoped soon we will have the waiata video recorded for all to see, learn and enjoy.
